Dan Simoneau Solo Exhibition – Kenosha Public Museum – 2017

Dan Simoneau Solo Exhibition – Kenosha Public Museum – 2017

Mark your calendars…

The Kenosha Public Museum in Harbor Park, Kenosha, WI will be exhibiting a solo exhibition of my male figurative paintings in the Touhey (East) Gallery from June 10 through August 20, 2017.  At this time, the exhibition is planned to have at least 25 – 30 of my acrylic and watercolor paintings.  I have requested to have a private, invitation-only, reception from 5 – 7PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017.  We are planning possible workshops, gallery talks, and onsite painting demonstrations during the exhibition.

The Celebrate Watercolor event hosted by the Transparent Watercolor Society of America will be held on the opening day of my exhibition, June 10, 2017, so many of my artist friends from the society will be able to see my work in person for the first time.

I am so honored and thankful to have the museum approach me for this exhibition.  The Kenosha Public Museum is a wonderful museum with is part art museum and part natural history museum.  The showpiece of the museum is a pair of mammoth skeletons found in Kenosha county.

I hope you can come to beautiful Wisconsin next Spring/Summer to see the exhibition.  I’ll keep you up to date on happenings related to the exhibition here and on my facebook art page – www.facebook.com/dansimoneauisap.
