Education:

Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern Maine in 1984 with
a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in painting, pottery and printmaking and
minoring in art history.

Teaching Experience:

Taught oil and watercolor painting to all levels of students through the Auburn, Maine
Adult Education program from 1985 to 1989. Taught privately from 1990 to 1991. Taught
Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor painting as well as Life Drawing at Spectrum
Gallery in Toledo, Ohio from 1993 to 1995.

Professional Art Background:

Self-employed as a semi-professional artist since 1975 as a supplement to my education
as well as to my full time career.
